Historic photographs are one of the best ways to see how dramatically Pitsea has changed. This page is designed as a home for images of the old settlement, streets, shops, railway, market, landmarks and neighbourhoods.
Images can help compare the rural and early suburban landscape with the roads, housing and retail development that followed. Views of the same location from different decades are particularly useful for showing how the town evolved.
