The principal westbound destination is London Fenchurch Street. c2c gives an average Laindon-to-London journey time of around 40 minutes.
The next station west of Laindon on the main route. c2c gives an average journey of about five minutes.
A useful interchange for London Underground District line services and London Overground connections.
Provides connections with London Underground, London Overground and other rail services.
A major interchange for the Jubilee line, District line and Docklands Light Railway.
Useful for Docklands and interchange with the DLR.
The main London terminus for the route, close to the City of London and Tower Hill Underground station.
Eastbound trains run through Basildon and towards Southend and Shoeburyness. c2c gives an average journey of around 25 minutes to Southend.
The next station east. c2c gives an average journey time of around three minutes.
An important junction station and useful interchange for parts of the c2c network.
Useful for Benfleet and onward local travel towards Canvey Island.
A popular destination for the Old Town, waterfront, pubs, restaurants and estuary walks.
Coastal stops west of central Southend, useful for the seafront and residential areas.
For Southend city centre, shopping, the seafront and attractions around the central waterfront.
Serves the eastern side of Southend and parts of the seafront beyond the centre.
A quieter coastal stop east of Southend.
The eastern terminus of the main c2c route and a destination for the coast, parks and Shoebury area.
c2c also operates a limited service to London Liverpool Street at selected times. These are not the normal all-day Laindon service, so passengers should check the timetable carefully before relying on a direct train.
For places on other parts of the c2c network, such as Grays, Tilbury Town, East Tilbury, Stanford-le-Hope, Ockendon, Chafford Hundred, Rainham and Dagenham Dock, a change may be required depending on the service and time of day. Pitsea, Barking or Upminster can be useful interchange points depending on the journey.
Travelling west from Laindon gives access to several London transport networks. Upminster connects with the District line and London Overground; Barking provides Underground and Overground connections; West Ham connects with the Jubilee and District lines and the DLR; and Limehouse connects with the DLR.
The railway gives Laindon residents a wide range of simple day trips. London offers museums, theatres and shopping, while Leigh-on-Sea, Southend, Thorpe Bay and Shoeburyness provide coastal destinations without needing to drive.
